Real Salt Lake was proud to announce Ali Strong as its Season Ticket Members of the Match. Ali was honored at Saturday's match against Sporting Kansas City on May 4.
Ali has been a devoted RSL fan and season ticket holder for 11 years. One of her favorite RSL memories is attending the 2013 MLS Cup in Kansas City, despite the freezing weather and treacherous drive on black ice. Watching RSL put up a fight all the way to penalty kicks made it all worth it. Her decision to become a season ticket holder was sealed after her first game, where the electric atmosphere and energy made watching the games on TV incomparable. When asked about her all-time favorite RSL player, she quickly names Nick Rimando, the GOAT in her eyes.
During her on-field recognition, her boyfriend Jason proposed! He comes with Ali to every game. Both of their mom’s were with them on the field and were so surprised and excited as well. He said it was the perfect proposal for them and she was so surprised and happy.
