2012 Reserve League Schedule
The Real Salt Lake Reserves play a 10-match season against five regional opponents in 2012.
The RSL Reserves face MLS Reserve League Central Conference foes Chicago Fire, Colorado Rapids, FC Dalllas, Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City twice each – once at home and once away – during the Reserve League season.
Fans are welcome to attend RSL's home Reserve League matches at America First Field in Sandy, Utah.
For the Reserve League, MLS’s 19 clubs have been divided into three conferences – Western, Central and Eastern. Both the Central and Western Conferences include six clubs, while the Eastern consists of seven teams.
Teams are allowed to schedule additional exhibition games for their reserve squads against non-MLS opponents.
At the conclusion of the Reserve League season, the team with the most points out of all three conferences will be crowned the Reserve League champion. As is the case in MLS regular season play, three points are awarded for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss.
