Olmes Garcia
Blessed with good size and incredible speed, 20-year-old Colombian forward Olmes Garcia comes to RSL as a relatively unknown quantity. A talented but raw prospect, Garcia did well at Colombian First Division side Deportes Quindio, scoring seven goals in 47 total appearances after signing with the team as an 18-year-old in January 2011.
He’ll need some time to adjust to a new country, a new team, a new language, a new culture and new tactics, but Garcia is a significant part of the Claret-and-Cobalt’s long term plan. He’ll have plenty of time to grow into a large role; he signed a five-year contract with RSL on a transfer from Quindio.
