SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake forward Alvaro Saborio captained Costa Rica to a 1-0 Gold Cup victory over Belize on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium, booking Los Ticos a place in the tournament's Quarterfinals.

Saborio started the match and played 88 minutes before coming off for Waylon Francis.

Saborio will wrap up Group C play on Tuesday, when he will take on fellow RSL players Kyle Beckerman, Tony Beltran and Nick Rimando in a Costa Rica-U.S. matchup in Hartford. The winner of that match will take home top honors in Group C; the U.S. would win the Group with a tie. Los Ticos will play their Quarterfinal match next Sunday, July 21 at M&T Bank Field in Baltimore.
