Rimando, Beckerman see action in US's rout over Guatemala

Rimando goes full 90, Beckerman plays first half in friendly win

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando and midfielder Kyle Beckerman both played in the U.S.'s 6-0 rout win over Guatemala on Friday night, with Rimando starting and going the full 90 and Beckerman playing the first half in the friendly win at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium. 

Real Salt Lake defender Tony Beltran did not get into Friday's match. 

The U.S. will kick off its Gold Cup slate on Tuesday with a match against Belize at Jeld-Wen Field in Portland. 

The Americans will continue their tournament run at Rio Tinto Stadium next Saturday, July 13, when they'll take on Cuba at 1:30 p.m. MT in the first game of a Gold Cup doubleheader in Sandy. RSL forward Alvaro Saborio and Costa Rica will take on Belize in the second match of the twin bill at Rio Tinto Stadium at 4:00 p.m. MT next Saturday. Click here to buy tickets for the Gold Cup doubleheader
