Real Salt Lake waives MF Nico Muñiz
Claret-and-Cobalt release 20-year-old Homegrown player

SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake announced on Monday that it has waived Homegrown MF Nico Muñiz.
The 20-year-old Muñiz – who became the first RSL-Arizona Academy graduate to jump straight to RSL from Casa Grande when he signed with the team on Sept. 15, 2011 – is eligible for selection in Monday afternoon’s waiver draft.
Muñiz didn’t make any appearances in 2012, the only year he was eligible to play for the first team.
