Open Letter from Nat Borchers

Borchers talks about fan support and recent woes

RSL Nation -

We have two big games coming up on Saturday and Tuesday, and we need you there - arrive early, wear red, be loud and be proud of the atmosphere at our Rio Tinto Stadium home. In other words, keep doing what you always do as our valuable "12th man!"

With our recent stumbles on the road, some critics seem to be questioning our side; I want to reiterate to all that we need to stick together and BELIEVE. Yes, we have hit a bit of a road skid, and yes, we were unable to take advantage of a few opportunities to move ahead of San Jose; but I want all of RSL Nation to know that the heart, desire, passion and work ethic inside the RSL locker room and Rio Tinto Stadium amongst players, coaches, staff, management & ownership remains at the highest of levels.

We include you, the fans, as part of that family, whose commitment to each other is unwavering; we expect to take you all on an exciting ride throughout the rest of the season, CONCACAF group play and on into the Playoffs!

I hope that you stay with us for that ride every step of the way, and look forward to seeing you at both sold-out matches on Saturday against FC Dallas and Tuesday against Tauro FC in a must-win CONCACAF Champions League match. Unfortunately, I won't be on the pitch due to the red card in Costa Rica, but I will be in the stands supporting the boys with all my heart - won't you?

Can't wait to see 20,000+ of you at "The Fortress" this weekend, and again on Tuesday!
