Quakes Academy faces 2 road games in 2 days

SJ squads set for Development Academy matches at Arsenal, RSL

With the country beginning to experience the thaw of winter,
the USSF Development Academy schedule is kicking up a gear as 20 games are scheduled between Saturday and Sunday.

Three MLS academies will be part of the action, two of which
face a busy weekend with games on consecutive days. The New England Revolution’s youngsters host NJSA on
Saturday, before welcoming Match Fit Chelsea on Sunday.

Out West, the San Jose Earthquakes face two road matches
outside of their Northwest Division, facing Arsenal FC at the Under-16 and
Under-18 levels on Saturday and then traveling to meet Real Salt Lake’s academy
side on Sunday.

Getting into the fray for the first time in 2011 is Cosmos
Academy East. The New York-based Development Academy faces another local club
when they take on Empire United on Saturday morning before hosting Seacoast
United on Sunday.

It’ll mark the first action that Cosmos East will see since
taking part in the Development Academy Showcase in Arizona last December.
