SANDY, Utah (Sunday, September 19,
– After
starting off a stretch of six games in 18 days with a pair of wins last week, Real
Salt Lake
will only be busier this week when it travels to Panama midweek
for CONCACAF Champions League play and returns home to continue a record run in
League action on the weekend.


Prior to departing for Central America
on Monday morning, Real Salt Lake players and coaches will be made available
for media interviews at the Delta Airlines Ticket Counter in Terminal 2
of the Salt Lake City International Airport. Media are advised to arrive
by 7:45 a.m. MT to ensure availability.


After arriving in Panama City on
Monday, Real Salt Lake (2-1-0, 6 pts. in CCL play) will train on Tuesday
in preparation for Wednesday’s critical Group A Matchweek 4 contest against Arabe
Unido (1-2-0, 3 pts.)
. The contest will kickoff from Estadio
Rommel Fernandez
in the Panamanian capital at 6:00 p.m.. MT,  and Fox Soccer
will air a tape-delay broadcast at 9:00 p.m. MT. Real Salt Lake is currently tied for the Group A lead with Cruz
Azul on six points midway through the Group Stage of the regional competition,
while Toronto FC and Arabe Unido both sit on three points.


It’s then another quick turnaround for
Real Salt Lake (13-4-8, 47 pts. in MLS play), who will hustle back to
Utah to prepare for the lone visit of the season to Sandy by the
Claret-and-Cobalt’s Rocky Mountain Cup rival, the Colorado Rapids
(10-7-7, 37 pts.)
. The Fox Soccer Channel “FSC on MLS” Game of the Week
is set for an 8:00 p.m. MT kickoff at Rio Tinto Stadium, where RSL will
look to carry on its record 23-match home undefeated streak in League play.

Tonight’s KUTV2
Sports at 10:30 p.m.

Real Salt Lake defender Chris
will take time away from his – and the squad’s – hectic schedule to
appear on tonight’s edition of KUTV2’s Talkin’ Sports, set to air
at 10:30 p.m. MT. Wingert and host David James will go over Real
Salt Lake’s successful two-win week against Toronto FC and Chicago and set the
table for yet another double-dip this week at Arabe Unido and vs. the Rapids.
